Wall-mounted curtains

Curtains do not always have to be mounted on the ceiling. By mounting curtains on the wall, you can adapt the curtain hanging to the conditions of the room and the look you want to create. Wall mounting suits both single and double curtain headings and can be an option when ceiling mounting is not possible or when you simply prefer to place the curtains lower down, closer to the window.

Both a curtain pole and a curtain track can be wall-mounted and offer different ways to frame the window and the room. The curtain hanging you choose is often a matter of both look and function. The curtain pole becomes a more visible part of the interior and gives a more classic look, while the curtain track is more discreet and lets the curtains take more of the focus.

The layout of the room can affect which type of curtain heading works best. With sloping ceilings, visible ceiling beams or other details in the ceiling, wall mounting can be an alternative to mounting the curtains on the ceiling. By attaching the curtain pole or curtain track to the wall instead, the curtain hanging can be adapted to the conditions of the room.

At the same time, wall mounting does not have to be a solution to a practical obstacle. It can also be a deliberate choice when you want to place the curtains closer to the window or simply prefer the look of a wall-mounted curtain heading.

With double curtains, you can combine two different curtains and create a flexible curtain heading in several layers. A common combination is a thinner, sheer curtain closest to the window and a denser curtain in front. This way, you can vary both light transmission and privacy, while the two layers give a fuller look.

Double curtains can be wall-mounted in several different ways. You can use traditional curtain poles with a double bracket, a double curtain track with a wall bracket, or mount two single curtain tracks in parallel with wall angle brackets. The solution you choose depends on the look you want to create and the type of curtain heading you prefer.

Mounting the curtain track on the wall does not limit the options for adapting the track to the room. Just as with ceiling mounting, many curtain tracks can be joined for longer window sections and fitted with bends to follow the layout of the room. This makes it possible to create curtain solutions along larger parts of the wall or around corners, even when the track is wall-mounted.

New: Mount a double curtain track on the wall
Our made-to-measure Hotel curtain track with double track was previously intended for ceiling mounting. We are now launching a new wall bracket that makes it possible to mount the double curtain track on the wall as well. You get two parallel tracks in a single curtain track and can create a wall-mounted curtain heading with double layers, for example with a thinner curtain closest to the window and a denser curtain in front.

The new wall bracket is an option for those who want a double curtain track on the wall without having to mount two separate tracks. The hotel curtain track is available in ready-made lengths or can be made to measure up to 5.8 m to the desired length, and is combined with the wall bracket for wall mounting.

For a connectable solution with double curtain tracks on the wall, we are also launching a new double bracket for the Alex track, which makes it possible to mount two separate tracks in parallel on the wall.
