NEW ARRIVALS: café curtains & curtain valances

We are expanding our range with two classic curtain solutions – café curtains and valances. Both have long been appreciated for their ability to create cozy and personalized windows, and they are just as suitable for traditional as well as modern homes. The new additions are launched in some of our most popular fabrics from the existing collection, making it easy to complement your home's curtain solution with matching products.

With made-to-measure heights and multiple fabric choices, it is easy to customize both café curtains and valances to suit the window, the room, and the style you wish to create.

Cafe curtains – more light, less visibility

Café curtains are a lovely choice for rooms where you want to reduce visibility from the outside without blocking out daylight. They typically cover the lower part of the window, making them especially suitable for kitchens, bathrooms, and other rooms where you want to maintain a bright and open feel.

The look can be varied depending on the fabric, color, and method of hanging. A sheer café curtain on a classic café rod gives the window a soft, rustic charm, while a heavier fabric can enhance a more modern, Scandinavian aesthetic. In this way, café curtains can be both a practical and decorative detail, regardless of your interior style.

Valances – a classic with a modern twist

Many associate valances with a classic interior design style, but today they are seen in more and more modern homes. By choosing the right fabric and curtain rod, a valance can serve as a decorative detail that frames the window without dominating the room.

Just like café curtains, valances can be adapted to different styles and environments. In a country-style home, they enhance the cozy feel, while in a more modern interior, they can add softness and texture to straight lines and minimalist materials. Valances are also a decorative choice for windows where space is limited and full-length curtains are not an option.
