Child safety

Roller blinds, Roman blinds and other blinds operated with a beaded chain or cord can pose a strangulation risk if they are within reach of young children. At Hasta, we naturally want to make sure you are not exposed to this risk, so we have developed safety devices for all our blinds that keep the chain out of your children's reach. To avoid any risk, make sure you fit this safety device at a sufficient height and read the recommendations in the enclosed instructions carefully.

Installation height
Installation height is the distance from the floor up to the point where the blind is mounted. On made-to-measure blinds with a cord or beaded chain, the installation height is used to adjust the length of the cord or chain used for operation, so that it ends up at a child-safe distance (150 cm above the floor).
