Curtain panels - a flexible solution for many homes

Ready-made curtain panels are curtains in standard sizes that can be hung up straight away or easily hemmed at home to the desired length. The curtain panels come in ready-made sizes that suit many homes and are offered in several different materials and colours.

Hasta's ready-made curtain panels come in two sizes: 132×250 cm and 268×280 cm. The heights are designed to suit common ceiling heights in many homes, but the curtains can also be hemmed at home to the desired length. 

The curtain panels are delivered with a sewn overlocked edge that prevents the fabric from fraying and gives the edge a neat finish. This means that you can hang the curtains straight away, without having to hem them first. As they have no sewn hem on delivery, you also don't need to unpick anything if you want to adjust the length afterwards. 

Another advantage of ready-made curtain panels is that they do not require the same production time as made-to-measure curtains. You therefore get a ready-made curtain solution faster, while still having the option to adjust the length yourself if needed.

The curtain panels can be hemmed to the desired length in two ways: by sewing a classic hem with a sewing machine or by using iron-on hemming tape. A sewn hem gives a more traditional finish, while iron-on hemming tape is an easy alternative that is ironed on and does not require a sewing machine or any sewing skills. 

Another advantage of iron-on hemming tape is that the length of the curtain can more easily be adjusted again. This can be practical if, for example, you move house and want to use the curtains in a room with a different ceiling height.

Even though standard sizes work in many homes, made-to-measure curtains give you greater scope to adapt the curtain to the room's specific dimensions and conditions. Every home is unique, and today curtains are so much more than two lengths on a curtain pole. All of Hasta's curtains, both in standard sizes and made to measure, are supplied with multi-purpose heading tape, which allows several different types of curtain hanging on both curtain poles and curtain tracks. 

For example, for tall windows, wide window sections or other dimensions where the standard sizes do not fit, made-to-measure curtains give you greater freedom. The curtains are adapted to your measurements as soon as you order and are delivered with a classic sewn hem.
