Product description

Roman blind and roll-up roller blind in one, with a warm white fabric and a rustic feel. The product is supplied as a Roman blind but can easily be converted into a roll-up blind. Instructions included. Can be mounted on a wall or ceiling, or inside a window recess using the brackets supplied, and is operated by cord. A cord cleat for securing the cord is included for added child safety. Maximum height is 160 cm when fully lowered.

How to measure

Recess mounting

For recess mounting, measure the recess in at least 3 places (top, middle, and bottom). Then, deduct 5 millimeters from the smallest measurement. The reason for this is partly to ensure the Roman blind fits into the recess, and partly to prevent the fabric from touching the walls and wearing out.

Wall mounting

If you are mounting on the wall outside the window, you can either choose to measure so that the Roman blind lines up with the window frames or let the Roman blind extend a little way onto the wall.

Installation height & child safety

Installation height
Installation height is the distance from the floor up to the point where the blind is mounted. On made-to-measure blinds with a cord or beaded chain, the installation height is used to adjust the length of the cord or chain used for operation, so that it ends up at a child-safe distance (150 cm above the floor).

Read more in our guide to child safety.

Child safety
Roller blinds, Roman blinds and other blinds that are adjusted with a chain or cord can pose a risk if they are within reach of small children. For your peace of mind, the roller blind is supplied with a safety device for the beaded chain. It helps to keep the chain out of reach of small children. We recommend that you always install the safety device according to the enclosed instructions for a safe home environment.
